日本での発見 / Discoveries in Japan #18: 太陽は / Sun in corner

本日は、雪のまだ残っている明治記念館の方まで出かけてきました。(実際南大沢の方が雪は残ってますけど。)

この間友達に教えてもらった「木漏れ日」。その言葉の意味を考えているうちに、自分がいつも引かれる写真にあるパターンに気付きました······

When I was a kid, I used to always draw the sun at the corner of the paper. (I wasn't alone in this, right?) But now I realize that I like photos where the sun is peeking out through the trees/clouds/whathaveyou because they remind me of those pictures I used to draw back then. Something about..."comfort"...

    1. Right?! I don't remember any teacher teaching me to do that...maybe it was peer pressure. :)
