日本での発見 / Discoveries in Japan #16: 新年会 / New Year's Party

Just when I thought we'd had enough libation to close 2012, it turns out we're having even more to kick off 2013. And we wonder about the drinking culture here...

火曜日の新年会も楽しかったけど、もっと楽しかったのは二次会でした！おまけにお店では大好きなガーベラを！花言葉は「崇高美」。私には全然似合わんけど······

That New Year's Party couldn't have come at a better time, though—I feel excited about being efficient at working so that I can spend well-deserved hours hanging out with interesting people in my downtime. There's nothing better than discovering that you get along awesomely with people you hadn't really talked to in the last four months (except making that discovery earlier).

仕事終わらせてから友達と夜中までだべってるのは大好き。人間毎日疲れて、ストレスためて、八つ当たりしたり、優しさを失ったり······時には癒されなくっちゃ！お店の人にはちょっと悪かったけど、これからも多言語やら他言語やらの事を話ながら一杯できるのが楽しみです。2013年······これからもよろしくお願いしまーす！
